On May 10, BRICS Cardiovascular Health Innovation Roundtable 2022 was successfully held online on the occasion of the BRICS Year of China. The Roundtable was co-hosted by Xiamen Cardiovascular Hospital of Xiamen University (hereafter referred to as the Hospital) and BRICS Partnership on New Industrial Revolution Innovation Center (hereafter referred to as the BRICS PartNIR Innovation Center), in which cardiovascular experts from India, Brazil, China and other BRICS countries gathered online for academic exchanges and discussions. As a branch of National Clinical Research Center for Cardiovascular Diseases, the Hospital established Xiamen BRICS Cardiovascular Health Innovation Center with the support of BRICS PartNIR Innovation Center. Huang Feng, Executive Deputy Director-General of the Office of Xiamen Leading Group for BRICS PartNIR Innovation Center, said that the success of this Roundtable marked another significant practice in the health cooperation of BRICS countries. In the future, the BRICS PartNIR Innovation Center will continue to serve as a bridge to support and promote practical cooperation among BRICS countries in public health.
