The Second BRICS Policy Seminar Successfully Held

On the afternoon of April 24, the second BRICS Policy Seminar on “The Impact of And Response to Russia-Ukraine Conflict in the BRICS Year of China”, hosted by the BRICS PartNIR Innovation Center, was successfully held and received great attention. On the seminar, Professor Zhao Long from Shanghai Institutes for International Studies analyzed the impact of the Russia-Ukraine conflict on the BRICS Year of China from different perspectives, including the theme of the summit, internal cohesion of BRICS countries, pragmatic cooperation and positions of all parties, etc. Parties involved actively interacted with Prof. Zhao and asked questions based on their own work. The “BRICS Policy Seminar” will continue to be held on a regular basis. Experts and scholars will be invited to give lectures, answer questions, improve capabilities and further clarify the direction of action by focusing on the hot spots of BRICS cooperation and practical problems encountered in the development of the BPIC.
