BRICS Youth Energy Summit & International Energy Youth Conference debuted on September 18, at the Future Science City, Changping District, Beijing. Themed “Youth together for energy innovation, embracing a green future,” the event’s agenda included readingthe BRICS Energy Report 2022, awarding ceremony for winners of theCompetition on Energy and Climate Change, followed by leaders’ dialogue on future energy, ending up with speeches by BRICS youth. Over the meeting, participants shared their story about efforts into low-carbon transition and climate change, called for more international energy cooperation, and gave credit to the role of young people in boosting energy cooperation.
