The 2024 BRICS Summit Will Be Held in Russia From October 22nd to 24th

On March 5, local time, aide to Russian President, Yuri Ushakov, announced that the 2024 BRICS Summit will be held in Kazan, Russia, from October 22nd to 24th, which will be the first summit of BRICS countries after the expansion.
Russia takes over rotating BRICS presidency this year. As the chairman of the Preparatory Committee, Ushakov stated that in 2024, the focus of Russia will be on promoting political and security, economic and financial, as well as cultural and humanitarian connections among BRICS countries. Russia will organize about 250 events this year, with the most significant being the BRICS Summit scheduled to be held in Kazan from October 22nd to 24th.
